The closing principle of electric globe valves is to rely on electric thrust to rotate the valve stem, making the sealing surface of the valve disc and valve seat tightly fit, preventing medium flow. Electric shut-off valves only allow one-way flow of media and have directional installation. The structural length of the shut-off valve is larger than that of the gate valve, and the fluid resistance is high. Therefore, the sealing reliability is not strong during long-term operation.

1.In the closed position, the valve body is subjected to mechanical pressure from the valve stem, and the sealing surface of the valve disc is tightly pressed against the valve seat.
2.When the handwheel is turned counterclockwise, the valve stem moves in the opposite direction, and its bottom angular plane causes the valve body to detach from the valve seat.
3. The valve stem continues to lift and interacts with the guide pin in the spiral groove of the valve stem, causing the valve disc to start rotating without friction.
4. Until reaching the fully open position, lift the valve stem to the limit position and rotate it to the fully open position.
