Top Entry Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve
The top mounted ball valve is easy to disassemble and quickly maintain on the pipeline. When the valve malfunctions in the pipeline and needs to be repaired, there is no need to disassemble the valve from the pipeline. Simply remove the middle flange bolts and nuts, remove the valve cover and valve stem assembly together from the valve body, and then remove the ball and valve seat assembly. The ball and valve seat can be repaired online. This type of maintenance saves time and minimizes losses in production.

Top mounted ball valves are divided into floating ball valves and fixed ball valves.
The disadvantage of the upper mounted fixed ball valve is that the spring preload cannot be adjusted and controlled, and the spring compression is large during assembly, making assembly difficult. To solve this problem, ANSI 302 was chosen as the spring material instead of 304. The ANSI 302 spring has good stiffness and similar corrosion resistance to 304. In addition, a spring seat and an adjusting nut have been added, and threads have been turned on the outer circle of the valve seat and the spring seat respectively. The adjusting nut is used to compress the spring into the spring seat, and the valve seat assembly is installed into the valve body. Due to the compression of the spring before installing the sphere, it is very convenient to install the sphere. After the ball is assembled, remove the adjusting nut from the spring seat, and the pre tightening force of the spring on the ball is relatively small. If you want to increase the preload, you can adjust it by adjusting the nut.
